Hydraulic lifting jack system application:
1. Prepare
Check the equipment: before use, ensure that all jacks, hydraulic pumps, oil pipes and other equipment in good condition, no leakage.
Select the right jack: Ensure that all jack models used are the same to ensure synchronization. RSM or CLRR series jacks are recommended, which are suitable for bridge jacking and can be used with follow-up jacks for better safety jacking effect32.
2. Install the jack
Location: Select an appropriate jacking point based on the structure and center of gravity of the jacking object. Ensure that the jack is placed on a solid, flat ground, and if necessary, pad wood or road to expand the force area 3.
Install the support: Place the support wood under the jack to ensure that the jack does not tilt or slide due to force.
3. Connect the hydraulic system
Connect the oil pipe: Connect the high pressure oil pipe of the hydraulic pump to the oil inlet of the jack, and connect the low pressure oil pipe to the oil return port. Make sure the connection is strong and leak-free.
Install the distributing valve: If using the distributing valve solution, install the distributing valve between the hydraulic pump and the jack, ensuring that each jack has an even flow of hydraulic fluid 2.
4. Debug and test
Check connections: Double check all connections to make sure there are no looseness or leaks.
Preliminary test: Start the hydraulic pump, conduct preliminary test, observe the jacking condition of each jack, and ensure that all jacks move in sync. If there is any abnormality, adjust the distribution valve or check the connection part in time.
5. Official lifting
Synchronous jacking: During the formal jacking process, continuously observe the jacking conditions of each jack to ensure synchronization. A dial indicator can be used to monitor the lifting height to ensure that the force is uniform across the bridge girder 1.
Safety measures: During the lifting process, ensure that there is a special person responsible for monitoring, ready to deal with emergencies. At the same time, pay attention to the support wood under the weight to ensure that it always keeps up with the lifting height.
6. Complete the jacking
Slow pressure relief: After the jacking is complete, slowly open the oil return valve to gradually shrink the jack to avoid dangerous sudden pressure relief.
Removing equipment: Remove oil pipes and jacks, clean up the site, and ensure that all equipment is in good condition.
