Usage method
1. Prepare
- Check the appearance of the jack to ensure that all components are intact, no damage, no leakage. In particular, it is necessary to check whether the clip is worn, deformed, and whether the cylinder surface is cracked.
- Connect the oil pipe between the hydraulic pump and the jack to ensure that the connection is strong and the oil pipe is not broken.
- According to the required amount of prestress, determine the pressure setting value of the oil pump and adjust it accordingly.
2. Install the jack and steel strand
- Install the front clamp jack at the proper position at the front end of the prestressed steel strand, so that the clamp can accurately jam the steel strand. It is necessary to ensure that the central axis of the jack and the steel strand coincide as much as possible to avoid eccentric tension.
3. Tension operation
- Open the hydraulic oil pump, so that the hydraulic oil slowly into the jack cylinder, push the piston forward. The piston drives the clamp, thus stretching the strand and beginning to apply the prestress. In the tensioning process, pay close attention to the pressure display on the oil pump and the stroke of the jack, and gradually increase the prestress according to the pre-set tensioning procedure.
- When the prestress value required by the design is reached, the oil inlet valve of the oil pump is closed and the pressure is maintained for a period of time, generally 2-5 minutes, to stabilize the prestress and reduce the relaxation of the steel strand.
4. Oil return and unloading
- After the prestress is stabilized, open the oil return valve of the oil pump to allow the hydraulic oil to return to the oil tank of the oil pump. The piston will gradually retreat during the oil return process, and the clip will also release the steel strand, completing a tension operation.
- Remove the jack to prepare for the next tensioning or subsequent engineering operations.
Matters needing attention
1. Operation safety
- The operator must be professionally trained and familiar with the operation process and safety precautions of the jack. During the stretching process, the operator should stand in a safe position to avoid personal injury caused by accidents such as jack or steel strand breakage.
- Warning signs should be set up around the tensioning site to prohibit irrelevant personnel from entering the operation area.
2. Check and maintain the equipment
- Regular inspection, maintenance and maintenance of the jack. The integrity of the equipment should be checked before and after each use, such as serious wear of the clip, leakage of the oil cylinder and other problems, should be replaced or repaired in time.
- After the jack is used, the oil and debris on the surface should be cleaned and stored in a dry and well-ventilated place to avoid moisture and rust of the equipment.
3. Tensioning process
- When tensioning, it is necessary to operate in strict accordance with the tension sequence and tension stress required by the design. Avoid overtension or tension sequence error, resulting in uneven structure force or cracks and other quality problems.
- During the tension process, pay attention to the state of the steel strand and jack. If it is found that the steel strand has the phenomenon of sliding wire, broken wire, or the jack has abnormal sound, shaking, etc., it should stop the tension immediately, check the cause and deal with it.
