Working principle of airborne splitter

The airborne splitter is a kind of high efficiency rock crushing equipment, its working principle is based on hydraulic drive and special mechanical structure design.

It is mainly composed of pumping station, high pressure oil pipe and splitting gun. The pumping station produces high-pressure hydraulic oil, which is delivered to the splitting gun through high-pressure tubing. Inside the split gun is a piston cylinder structure that pushes the piston forward when high-pressure oil enters one side of the cylinder. Connected to the piston is a set of expandable wedge components. As the piston advances, the wedge assembly is pushed outward, pushing open in the pre-drilled holes in the rock. Due to the huge expansion tension of the wedge, it can exert up to thousands of tons of pressure on the rock, which causes the rock to crack along the predetermined fracture plane and eventually split apart. This method can complete the crushing operation of hard rock in a short time. Compared with the traditional blasting method, it has the advantages of no noise, no dust, high safety and accurate control of the crushing range. It is widely used in mining, building demolition and other fields.
