Working Principle

Pump station as the power center, the high pressure hydraulic oil produced is the power source of the whole system. The high-pressure tubing acts as a lifeline, transmitting power steadily to the splitter gun. The piston, cylinder block and wedge assembly inside the splitting gun are the key units to perform the crushing task. The piston moves precisely within the cylinder, converting the pressure of the hydraulic oil into mechanical thrust that is transmitted to the wedge. The wedge is designed based on its unique geometry and mechanical structure, which allows it to expand evenly in all directions after receiving thrust. This expansion tension pushes the rock apart from the inside through friction and extrusion against the wall of the rock borehole. Each component has its own role and cooperate with each other, like a precise mechanical team, to complete the rock crushing mission, and the failure or incoordination of any one component may affect the work efficiency of the entire airborne splitter.
