Installation and connection

Tension operation

- Start tensioning: Start the oil pump and let the jack's piston extend slowly to exert tension on the prestressed tendons. During the operation, pay attention to the reading of the pressure gauge, the displayed pressure value will change with the progress of tension, when the set tension is reached, stop the oil pump. For example, if the design requires a tensile force of 100kN, when the pressure gauge shows a scale corresponding to this force value, it is necessary to stabilize the oil pump.
- Load holding stage: After the tensile force is reached, the pressure needs to be maintained for a period of time, which is generally determined by the engineering design requirements, in order to allow the prestressed tendon to complete part of the deformation under constant tension, so that the stress distribution is more uniform.

Return unloading

- Oil return operation: After the completion of the tension task, slowly open the oil return valve of the oil pump, so that the piston of the jack slowly retract. This process should be smooth to avoid the impact of rapid piston retraction.
- Remove the equipment: When the piston is fully retracted, the core jack can be removed from the prestress bar, and the tubing can be removed from the jack and the oil pump, clean the equipment, and keep it safe.

In the process of using the core jack, it is necessary to strictly follow the operating procedures and to be operated by trained professionals to ensure safe and correct use.
