Piston rock splitter description
The Piston rock splitter is driven by the high pressure oil output from the ultra-high pressure oil pump station (120mp-150). The Piston rock splitter is composed of one or several splitter rods, a hydraulic power station, a set of high and low pressure hydraulic connection pipes and quick joints.
The splitting force of Piston rock splitter can reach 2500-4000 tons, and push the active piston on the splitting rod to move outward, so that the action force generated by the piston acts on the hole wall of the split body, and the rock splits in the predetermined direction under the huge action force.

1. Drill holes in the rock.
Use DTH drilling rig and change drilling bits as per different diameter which need to be matched according to the selected split rod type (150 split rod matches 155mm bit, 180 split rod needs 185mm bit). The hole spacing and hole depth can be operated according to the Piston rock splitter parameters.
2. Put the Piston rock splitter into the hole for splitting rocks.
After arranging the hole, put the Piston rock splitter into the hole as completely as possible. Use controlling the diesel hydraulic pump station for splitting, usually one minute can be divided. After splitting, by controlling the diesel hydraulic pump station to fully recover the Piston rock splitter plunger and take it out, the whole splitting process is over.
