Piston rock splitter description
The basic principle of Piston rock splitter isto use the enormous pressure generated by a plunger type device to fracture the rock into a predetermined shape and size. Piston rock splitter has a wide range of applications in construction, mining and stone processing.
Piston rock splitter is composed of a cylinder, 9-11 pistons, multiple seals, multiple high-pressure tubing and other components.
The Piston rock splitter power source is the hydraulic power station. The hydraulic pump station contains one inlet pipe and one return pipe, which can reach 120Mp and the theoretical splitting force is 1200tons. The Piston of the Piston rock splitter will extend when the oil is fed.

1. Drill holes in the rock.
Use DTH drilling rig and change drilling bits as per different diameter which need to be matched according to the selected split rod type (150 split rod matches 155mm bit, 180 split rod needs 185mm bit). The hole spacing and hole depth can be operated according to the Piston rock splitter parameters.
2. Put the Piston rock splitter into the hole for splitting rocks.
After arranging the hole, put the Piston rock splitter into the hole as completely as possible. Use controlling the diesel hydraulic pump station for splitting, usually one minute can be divided. After splitting, by controlling the diesel hydraulic pump station to fully recover the Piston rock splitter plunger and take it out, the whole splitting process is over.
