Working principle of ceramic piston pump
Ceramic piston pump is a commonly used forward displacement pump, which is often used for conveying high pressure liquid and pressure reinforcement. It works as follows:
Structure: The ceramic plunger pump consists of a driving device, a plunger and a pump body. There are a series of plunger cavities inside the pump body, and each plunger has a corresponding ceramic plunger.
Suction process: When the pressure in the plunger chamber of the pump body is lower than the pressure of the external liquid, the plunger will move backward to form the suction stage.
The suction valve opens and the fluid enters the plunger cavity from the outside.
Push process: When the drive device applies force to push the plunger forward, the volume in the plunger cavity is reduced and the liquid is forced out of the plunger cavity. At the same time, the suction valve is closed, the discharge valve is opened, and the liquid is pushed out of the pump body through the discharge valve.
Circulation process: The plunger pump achieves continuous liquid delivery through repeated suction and pushing processes. The reciprocating motion of the driving device makes the plunger push continuously in the pump body, producing a stable pressure and flow output.
The main advantages of ceramic piston pump are good corrosion resistance, high sealing performance, long life and so on. Due to the characteristics of ceramic materials, ceramic plungers can withstand high pressure and high temperature environments, which is suitable for some special industrial applications.
