Working principle of ceramic piston pump
Ceramic plunger pump is a kind of pump commonly used for liquid transport and pressure increase, its working principle is through the reciprocating movement of the ceramic plunger, the pressure difference between the high pressure side and the low pressure side is formed, the liquid is sucked from the low pressure side, compressed, and discharged through the high pressure side.
The specific working principle is as follows:
1. Suction stage: When the plunger moves to the lowest point, the pressure outside the plunger is lower than the liquid pressure inside it. At this point, the suction valve opens and the liquid flows into the plunger cavity through the suction valve.
2. Closing stage: When the plunger begins to move upward, the suction valve is closed, and the plunger cavity is isolated from the liquid storage cavity, and the liquid is sealed in the plunger cavity.
3. Compression stage: As the plunger continues to rise, the liquid in the plunger cavity is compressed, while the high pressure side valve is opened, and the liquid enters the high pressure side.
4. Discharge stage: When the plunger moves to the highest point, the high-pressure side valve is closed and the liquid is sealed in the plunger cavity. At this time, the valve on the low pressure side opens and the liquid enters the liquid storage chamber from the low pressure side.
Through the reciprocating movement, the ceramic piston pump continuously inhales and expels the liquid to achieve the delivery of the liquid and the pressure increase. Due to the excellent performance of ceramic materials, ceramic plunger pumps have the characteristics of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, etc., and are widely used in chemical, petroleum, food and other industries.
