The core working principle of concrete transfer pump is to push concrete to flow in the pipeline through mechanical or hydraulic power.
1. Material suction and push
Suction stage: the hopper of the concrete conveying pump receives the concrete poured by the mixer truck, and the hydraulic system drives the piston (or extrusion pipe) back to form negative pressure and suck the concrete into the conveying cylinder.
-Push stage: the piston (or extrusion pipe) of the concrete delivery pump moves forward to press the concrete into the delivery pipe, and the continuous pumping is achieved by alternating and reciprocating motion.
2. Pipeline transportation:
-Concrete flows along the pipeline under high pressure and finally reaches the pouring point through the elbows, hoses and other components of the concrete delivery pump.
3. Reversing control:
- The reversing valve in the hydraulic system of the concrete conveying pump automatically switches the direction of piston movement to ensure the continuity of pumping and avoid interruption.
